Thanks to the diligence of our family members, this has been a labor of love for all of us.
We want to celebrate Jim's talent in both his artistic and literary endeavors. Also, we want to share his creativity and ingenuity with anyone who is interested in his life.
Through Jim's artistic description on his canvases and in his poetry, we hope that there will be an emotional connection between gay youths at risk and the pain, ridicule, and hatred Jim experienced in his everyday life.
Our world is homophobic and very unforgiving to lifestyles which are out of the 'norm.' Homosexuality is not a sin or a choice. Many Christian groups and other organizations would have us believe otherwise.
Not only does homophobia hurt but it is deadly. So it is with these thoughts in mind that we hope you will share Jim's story and help support gay rights any way you can.
